Engagements and Anniversary with the 35L f/1.4

My newest lens arrived on Tuesday – the Canon 35L f/1.4. I fell in love with this lens after second shooting a wedding with David Iliyn. I immediately listed my beloved Canon 24-70L f/2.8 on Amazon – a lens I had owned for about four years and really liked, was very happy with that lens. But, I felt the image quality was much superior with the 35 and I’ve transitioned almost entirely to prime lenses.

Below are some sample photos from my last two shoots. On the day the lens arrived, I did an anniversary shoot for some good friends – Mark and Liz. A couple of days later I had an engagement shoot with Simon and Bekah.
